  I'm not really what the people are complaining about on these reviews regarding customer service as i never experienced bad service. in fact, there was this guy who asked me about 3 times if I was ok and needed help so they are proactive. I preferred just looking and waiting for James, so I guess it's just down to individuals. If you want service, just ask someone... I went to the front desk and they were more than happy to page James or answer questions.

  If you're a first time rider, or getting back onto a bike after a couple of decades, I fully recommend this place...

  He wasn't available straight away (i didn't call ahead, but i wasn't in a rush) but when he was available, was more than happy to have me test ride again with a different seat and gear settings. Once happy, I purchased the bike and got a discount on the seat.

  I first made a phone call and got James. I wasn't sure if they had bikes for the larger dude but James assumed me they have some for me. I went in and asked for James who helped me out with my initial choice (I was looking at the sturdier fat bikes) but also presented me with another option of a normal mountain bike. He was patient and let me ride around a bit as I hadn't ridden anything since i was 10 years old. I didn't buy anything that day but did go back the following day to test ride again.

  1st and last visit this morning. We were after some information on Scooters and after being in the store for quite sometime, no one offered us assistance. The girl at the front desk was more interested in being on her mobile phone. Disappointing as we went in wanting to support the local bike shop but looks like our own research and online will be easier.

  This is a good place to get a bargain IF you know a lot about bikes already, especially when they runout demo and last year's bikes, although that is true of most shops. This one is huge by Melbourne standards, so it just has a big selection. They don't reply to inquiries or help afterwards, not even if you just bought a $5300 bike like I did. Not a caring place. Large range of accessories.
